PHYSICAL THERAPY
One-on-one therapy. Real results. No revolving door.
At Dalton Wellness, physical therapy isn't a conveyor belt. It's you and your physical therapist — no assistants, no techs, no shared appointments. Just focused, hands-on care that gets to the root of why your body isn't moving the way it should.
We take a comprehensive look at how you move, identify the imbalances and impairments holding you back, and build a plan to fix them. The 1-on-1 model means fewer total visits, faster progress, and changes that actually last — so you don't have to keep coming back.
We treat patients of all ages, from weekend warriors to post-op patients to anyone who's been told to "just live with it." We don't think you should.
What to expect from day one.
Before your appointment we'll email intake paperwork — please fill it out in advance so we can spend your visit on what matters. Loose-fitting clothing or gym attire works best.
Evaluation
A comprehensive one-on-one assessment of your movement, pain, and history. We're looking for the root cause — not just where it hurts, but why.
Plan of Care
A personalized treatment plan built around your goals and your body. We'll walk through it together so you understand what we're doing and why.
Treatment
Hands-on treatment from day one when appropriate. You leave your first visit having done real work — not just paperwork.
Education
You'll leave knowing what's going on, why it's happening, and what we're going to do about it. The work continues between sessions.
From acute injury to chronic pain.
If your body isn't moving the way it should, we can probably help. These are some of the conditions we see most often — but the list isn't exhaustive. If you're not sure, reach out.
Evidence-based tools, applied to your specific case.
Every plan is built from techniques and modalities chosen for your specific situation — not a one-size-fits-all protocol. These are the tools we use regularly.
A fee-for-service practice — with a clear path to reimbursement.
Dalton Wellness is a fee-for-service practice. We don't bill insurance directly. Clients pay at the time of service and we provide a detailed receipt (a "superbill") you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.
Most clients with out-of-network benefits do receive reimbursement, though we can't guarantee it — that's between you and your insurer.
We accept FSA and HSA payments, cash, checks, and credit cards. Physical therapy is a covered expense under FSA/HSA plans.
Common questions.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
How does the Neubie work?
How does TECAR Therapy work?
What if I'm not sure whether I need PT or training?
How long is a typical session?
The 1-on-1 model costs more per visit. It costs less per recovery.
Insurance-based PT clinics survive on volume. Most patients there are managed by an aide between brief check-ins with their therapist — which is why a "plan of care" stretches to 20+ visits and progress feels glacial.
Our model is the opposite. One patient, one therapist, one full hour. The focus is faster results, fewer total visits, and a body that actually changes — not just a co-pay that recurs.
For most clients, fee-for-service PT ends up costing the same or less than insurance-based care once you account for the difference in total visit count. And the experience is fundamentally different.
